07 Oct Cottonwood Hosts an Evening with Robin Wall Kimmerer
Exciting news! As part of our first ever Cottonwood Reads! program, we are beyond THRILLED to host an evening with Robin Wall Kimmerer, author of Braiding Sweetgrass from 6pm-7:30 on Tuesday, November 17th!
Follow the link below to register. We will soon post information for a community book club to take place the week before Robin’s “visit”, so stay tuned. That means, you still have time to read the book! Copies available to check out at Cottonwood and the audiobook is easily available at Multnomah County Library. This program is made possible by a partnership between Cottonwood, The Confluence Project, Friends of Tryon Creek, and with support from the Gray Family Foundation.
We will also be co-hosting a private session earlier in the day especially for K-12 students and educators. If you would like more information, contact Sarah Anderson at sarahanderson [at] thecottonwoodschool.org
Register here for the book talk. You will receive the zoom link a few days before the 11/12/2020 event. Thank you!
There is still time to borrow a copy of the book from school. Email Sarah Anderson if you would like a copy. sarahanderson [at] thecottonwoodschool.org
