Come celebrate the release of Sarah K. Andersen's book "Bringing School to Life, Place-Based Education across the Curriculum" on Jan. 17, 2018 7-8:30pm at The Cottonwood School.

Giving to CSCS

The contributions of the community are critical to ensuring that our kids can participate in all the CSCS has to offer; it allows us to keep the class sizes small, to continue to enhance our programs, and to address larger needs such as the outside playspace. The allocation we get from the State School Fund is not enough to provide these private-school-like benefits.

The monthly / annual give is one of the two cornerstones of our community fundraising plan; the other is the annual fundraising event organized by the Friends of The Cottonwood School of Civics and Science. The suggested monthly donation is $50 per family, or $500 annually. All contributions at any level are most welcome. The monthly/annual give is designed to broadly address the top priorities of the school and community.

There are also several community events including Chinook Book sales and the Arts Park Run. Our goal is for all CSCS families to participate in these campaigns at an amount they feel able.
